DeMar DeRozan, who is widely considered inefficient, isposting a better TS% (60%) than Dwyane Wade ever posted in a season
This isn’t meant to shit on Wade, but just to point out whata remarkable season DeRozan is having. Wade’s season high in TS% is 58.8

Wow, I had no idea he was dominating like that

And now I’m thoroughly confused why the Spurs seem to suckass this season despite having good talent on the top end

Mid range god this year.

Him and Chris Paul reviving the mid range
[–][LAL] Elden Campbellbillybobjimmyjoe 77赞20 hours ago
Kyrie as well.
[–][MIL] Jabari ParkerJalinja 132赞18 hours ago
Kyrie needed to be revived himself first

Uhh… are you allowed to compliment Kawhi nowadays?
[–]RocketsLeBronBlackedAyesha 218赞23 hours ago
He was considered widely inefficient because he never wasthis efficient. No one would call him inefficient if he was this good in thepast.

Nah, he’s shooting only slightly better than his career frommid range this year (44.7%)…. Biggest difference is he’s taking way moreshots at the rim and his floater has been more reliable.

The Warriors capitalized on Livingston’s midrange skills, didn’t they?
[–]LakersPardonme23 4赞18 hours ago
The Spurs should trade him right now while his value is atits apex

DeRozan has been great this year! He’s also only played halfof a season. Let’s see if he finishes as high
[–]LakersSsyko 27赞20 hours ago
why you gotta do Flash like that in particular
[–]oxyhnc 33赞20 hours ago
probably the lack of 3pt shooting and same position
[–]LakersSsyko 17赞20 hours ago
Guess I could see that lol it just seemed pretty random tome cause I never hear people compare DWade and Demar
[–]Lakerskakalemefurk 24赞23 hours ago
In the playoffs i would choose one legged dwade over derozan. No offense

It should be noted that the average TS% of the league hasgone up since 2014.
This is presumably due to changes in offensive thought aswell as rules and enforcement. So it’s probably better to consider thesenumbers relative to league average. I have no bias towards or against eitherplayer.

This should be the only response in this thread.
[–]Heatdeycallmebud 110赞20 hours ago
Because ts% has been steadily increasing. Comparing the twoin a vacuum without looking at the league average is just misleading.
[–]hubau 9赞18 hours ago
But part of the reason ts% is getting better is becauseshooters are getting better at shooting from outside. Neither comparing rawnumbers nor comparing relative to their contemporaries tells the full story.
